Just days before he was crucified, they welcomed and cheered for him!

As he rode a donkey through the Eastern Gates of Jerusalem, they laid palm branches and their own coats on the ground, and shouted all kinds of praises at the top of their lungs!

“Hosanna!"
"Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!”
“Blessed is the king of Israel!”
~ John 12:13

They were sure he was the Messiah! The one who would unite the Jews and conquer the Romans. At last, they would posess their Promised Land, with Jesus leading a victorious Resistance!

And he did – But not in a way they understood.

Over 2000 years ago, a miraculous story started to spread from a small group of followers of Jesus. They said the teacher they loved was crucified, resurrected, and was the true Messiah.

People must have thought they were crazy! Yes, they'd seen Jesus perform miracles, but he was dead now!

Not according to these people. Jesus was resurrected!

Come hear why that first-century group of believers had such Irresistible faith. Their unshakeable belief in Jesus, and most importantly his resurrection, sparked the most significant cultural transformation in the history of the world.

What To Expect

Answers to Some of the Most Common Questions People Ask Us

Whether that's a t-shirt and jeans, or a suit or dress, it doesn’t matter! What you wear isn't important, as long as you're comfortable.

We have a band, and sing God-inspired contemporary music. Our pastors’ message is very relatable, and it's right from the Bible. You won't be bored, and you can actually use what you learn.

We teach your sons and daughters from the Bible on their level. On “regular” (non-Holiday) weekends, there’s programming for children through 5th grade. For Easter, it’s a little different. During all services at all campuses (except the 8am service at the South Wyoming Campus) we have childcare for children through Kindergarten. We invite the rest of your family to sit together during the special Easter services. Learn more about CornerKids and Cornerstone Student Ministries.

So NOT true! From our Pastors, right down to everyone you see at Cornerstone, we’re all on this journey of life, and we're ALL IMPERFECT! Nothing in your past, present, or future is too big for God to forgive, or help you through. Join us for Easter, and let God speak to your heart. Everyone is welcome!
