Be a Missionary... Without Traveling the World!

Your family can make a difference in the life of a child in a developing nation by sharing God's love through the power of a simple shoebox.

October 20 - November 11

To help make Jesus known to the ends of the earth! It also provides you parents a way to participate in global missions with your children.

Operation Christmas Child is an outreach project where you fill shoeboxes with toys, hygiene items, and school supplies for kids ages 2-14, provide $9 shipping by check or online, and turn it in at Cornerstone Church. (If you pay for shipping online, you can track and follow where your box ends up!) Then, Samaritan's Purse includes the Gospel message in each box, and sends it to kids world-wide!

Cornerstone will provide shoeboxes, prayer cards and "how to pack a box" instructions at every Cornerstone campus starting October 20&21.

We strongly encourage you to write letters to include in your box(es). The kids love getting them! Samaritan's Purse has volunteers to translate your letter(s).

Due Date

Boxes must be turned in to Cornerstone by Sunday, November 11. Our goal is to provide 1,000 shoeboxes!

Another Way to Participate!

Warehouse Help
(Warehouse is located at 1701 Porter St. Wyoming, MI, about 11 miles from Cornerstone's 84th St. Campus)

Are you willing to help get all the boxes ready to ship? We’ll be moving shoe box-filled cartons into semi-truck trailers. We stack them in the trailer by hand, so we need volunteers in good physical condition.

When: Friday, November 16, 2- 4pm and Monday, November 19, 1-5pm

Just email Laurie Hoyt at and she'll get in touch with you to give you more details.
